A half-day reservation is to be used when a visitor is arriving and leaving before 12:00 p.m. (noon).
A full-day reservation is used when a visitor arrives before noon and leaves after noon or when they arrive any time after noon.
Lots designated for employee parking, Mon.-Fri., 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. are generally not available for Event/Conference use during this time frame. Permitted lots are typically available after 5:00 p.m. and on weekends. Event / Conference permits are available in Manning (S11) during regular business hours. Requests for lots are based on space availability.
Requests to reserve meters and/or regular spaces are reviewed based space on availability and extenuating circumstances.
There is a 3-hour minimum charge for each monitor requested.
Police and security needs for events vary from short-term security presence for a guest speaker to larger events such as athletic, performing arts performances, road races, and VIP visits. Register your event with Police Services if you are uncertain at all about security/police needs for hosting the event. Public Safety reserves the right to determine security needs for any event hosted on campus. There is a minimum 3-hour charge for each officer assigned.
Departments paying by Direct Transfer will be charged within 72 hours of the event. Any services paid for by cash, check, or credit card must be made two weeks before the date of the services.
