The Tar Heel 10 Miler race will affect traffic on campus and in Chapel Hill the morning of Saturday, April 20. Impacts will include road closures and traffic diversions/detours.

Many transit systems serve UNC-Chapel Hill, including the fare-free, local Chapel Hill Transit system. Regional transit systems connect the University to surrounding areas. Park-and-Ride lots make it easy to catch the bus for work or class. Buses are accessible and most buses are equipped with front bike racks. The installation of a crane at the ITS Manning Parking Lot will require the periodic closure of Paul Hardin Drive and reduce Emergency Room Drive to one lane of traffic.
