Parkmobile
Parkmobile now live at UNC Park and Ride lots! Use the Parkmobile app to pay remotely from a smartphone for day-by-day, on-demand parking.
Parkmobile also available for Town-owned Park and Ride lots served by Chapel Hill Transit.

Service Changes
New schedules effective August 2018 for Chapel Hill Transit (CHT) and GoTriangle. PART Route 4 made changes in April 2018.
Chapel Hill Transit will be holding public input meetings for the Short-Range Transit Plan. Meetings will begin in Fall 2018.
TransLoc Rider App
The TransLoc Rider app now includes real-time pick up requests for UNC P2P Accessibility transit . This free app is available for iOS and Android, or internet browser at triangle.transloc.com.
Zipcar
Zipcar now offers new applicants a free 30-day membership before 9/30/2018. Current members will receive $10 in free driving credits when using Zipcar three or more times within the first month of school! Rates start at $5.50 per hour.
Bike
Tar Heel Bikes
Tar Heel Bikes is now live on campus! Three new bikeshare hubs added. Riders receive a $2 credit for riding from a south campus priority hub (look for the orange star) to a north campus hub.
Tar Heel Bikes Daily Plan is open to all. UNC students and employees may join the Lifestyle Plan using a unc.edu email address.
Cyclicious
Come celebrate bicycle transportation on Friday, August 24 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Pit. Take part in:
- Free bike maintenance checks
- Free bike lights and prizes worth $150!
- Free bike registration with UNC Police
Cyclicious encourages people to bike more and drive less!
Events
Transportation Fair
The annual Transportation Fair is coming this Fall! Come chat with Commuter Alternative Program (CAP), local and regional transit planners, bike advocates, and sustainability representatives. This is your chance to give input on transit planning and learn about all transportation options at UNC.
Football

Construction
Central Campus Athletic Project
The Central Campus Athletic Project is underway with a series of new University of North Carolina athletics facilities. Construction continues through Fall 2018.
Friday Center Drive
The Town of Chapel Hill will be reconstructing the portion of Friday Center Drive from Highway 54 to the median, and includes ADA improvements and bike lanes.
Surgical Tower Construction Project
Construction of a new Surgical Tower for UNC Hospitals will begin in Fall 2018. Vehicular and pedestrian routes will be impacted.
