The Tar Heel 10 Miler is designed to celebrate YOU and showcase downtown Chapel Hill, the UNC campus and the surrounding historic neighborhoods. A true Carolina showcase with thousands of UNC alumni crossing the finish line each year.
Not a UNC Fan? With its unique “Crash The Party” category, this event embraces the fun rivalry across neighboring campuses like NC State, Duke, and East Carolina University.
The Tar Heel 10 Miler benefits the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Chapel Hill-Carrboro YMCA’s We Build People Campaign. Endurance Magazine, together with the Chapel Hill Downtown Partnership and Fleet Feet Sports are proud to bring you this landmark running event.
