Bowles Drive Intersection at Manning Drive Re-opens as of June 30;
Project and One-way, Clockwise (northbound) Traffic Flow Continues
A re-paving project is underway on Skipper Bowles Drive with a scheduled completion date of September, 2015. Traffic patterns are being altered to preserve access to all facilities and parking areas along Bowles Drive. The contractors are working with University officials to minimize disruptions. Vehicles must access Bowles Drive from the southeastern entrance off of Manning Drive closest to Fordham Boulevard. Traffic flow will be one-way northbound along Bowles Drive (see map).
Chapel Hill Transit has implemented detours aboard the CM, N, and RU routes, which are detailed at the following site:

Bus stops serving Skipper Bowles Drive will be temporarily relocated during construction. Chapel Hill Transit will make every attempt to maintain schedules, but riders should plan for delays due to re-routing.
