Attention CD Permit Holders, Motorists, & Pedestrians
Motorists should be alert to lane shift changes scheduled to occur on Manning Drive directly in front of the Craige Deck construction project Wednesday through Friday, July 8 – 10. Motorists should proceed through this area with caution. With the completion of these lane changes, all Manning Drive lanes will re-open and traffic patterns will resume to those prior to Craige Deck construction. The Level Five entrance into the Craige Parking Deck (CD Zone) will remain blocked at this time, though access into the deck will be still be available through the Level Three entrance / exit from Paul Hardin Drive south of Manning Drive and the Level One entrance is entrance north of Blythe Drive (see map). Pedestrian sidewalks will re-open on the southern shoulder of Manning Drive: pedestrian detours will no longer be in effect. The alternate Chapel Hill Transit bus stop will still be utilized however.
The Craige Deck expansion will provide four (4) additional levels with an additional 900 spaces by the project’s completion, tentatively scheduled for later this Summer (2015).
