Attention S11 Permit Holders
The Dean E. Smith Center will host the Orange County and Cedar Ridge High School Graduations on Thursday, June 11, 2015 and the East Chapel Hill, Chapel Hill and Carrboro High School Graduations on Saturday, June 13, 2015. Consequently, the Williamson Lot / Drive and a portion of the Bowles Lot will be blocked for disability parking on both dates. Overflow from the Williamson Lot and Bowles Lot should park in the S11 Manning Lot.
Motorists parking or traveling in the Manning Drive and Bowles S11 area on Thursday should anticipate heavy pedestrian and vehicular traffic from approximately 2:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Traffic will be heaviest approximately 1 hour to 30 minutes prior to each ceremony. Ceremony times are as follows:
Thursday, June 11
Cedar Ridge High School 4:30 p.m.
Orange High School 7:30 p.m.
Likewise, pedestrian and vehicular traffic will be heavy along Bowles Drive and Manning Drive during ingress and egress for the Saturday ceremonies. Ceremony times are as follows:
Saturday, June 13
East Chapel Hill High School 9:00 p.m.
Chapel Hill High School 1:00 p.m.
Carrboro High School 5:00 p.m.
