A North Carolina DOT project to resurface South Road will cause nighttime lane closures now through mid-August. Motorists should expect single-lane closures between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. along portions of South Road as the project progresses. Through traffic will be maintained by flagmen, but motorists may expect some delays. Bus service in the impacted area will be maintained, though delays may occasionally occur.
