Fourth of July Celebration at Kenan Stadium

Join us at Kenan Stadium at UNC for an evening of family fun and community celebration in recognition of Independence Day.

Gates open at 7:00 p.m. For more information on the family activities throughout the evening, visit the the Town’s website for more details.

Fireworks start at 9:30 p.m.sharp. Seating is limited, arrive early for the best seats. Fireworks are only visible from inside the stadium.

Public Parking

Recommended parking for event patrons is in the Craige, Jackson and Cardinal parking decks off of Manning Drive and the Rams Head Deck off Ridge Road. Disability parking is in the Bell Tower Deck off South Road. Stadium Drive will remain closed to general public. Parking is also available in Town of Chapel Hill parking lots downtown. Bike / Walk

UNC and the Town of Chapel Hill promotes a Bike & Pedestrian-Friendly Community and encourages everyone to cycle or walk whenever attending these great events. Transit

There will be no transit service on Tuesday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. Regular service will resume Wednesday, July 5.
