Contractors for GoTriangle will be on south campus performing geotechnical borings as part of the proposed Durham-Orange Light Rail Project. Typical work hours will be Monday-Friday from approximately 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., and the work is anticipated to be completed by August 18. Although a detailed schedule of boring locations is not available, the contractors are generally working from the western part of the area (near Mason Farm Rd./Hibbard Dr.) toward the eastern part of the area (near Baity Hill and Fordham Blvd.). Expect delays or lane closures as this work is completed.
