Due to a break in the main water line leaving Orange Water and Sewer Authority (OWASA) Jones Ferry Road Water Treatment Plant, the University will be entering Condition 2 at 11:30am and remain in Condition 2 until 5:00 p.m. Tuesday Nov. 6. Crews are on-site to repair the break, and Jones Ferry Road is currently closed between Bim Street and Barnes Street. Refer to Alert Carolina for more timely updates.

Parking

Parking regulations are still in effect. As a reminder, the Dogwood Deck is expressly reserved for patients and visitors only and will be in full operation to meet patient/visitor parking needs.

Transit Changes

PASS Cart

PASS Cart operations are suspended while the University is in Condition 2.

Local/Regional Transit

Chapel Hill Transit will operate services as normal Nov 6, however J route remains on detour until further notice.
Other local and regional transit systems are running on normal schedules. Customers traveling to OWASA to vote can access the bus stop at the Davie Road and Jones Ferry Road intersection.
