Student parking assignment is a lottery process. Student representatives determine the number of permits available to each class for the annual undergraduate/graduate lottery process. Registration for the 2024-25 Student Parking Lottery begins July 3 and ends July 14.
- Limit of one lottery entry per student.
- First-year undergraduate students are NOT eligible for parking on campus.
- Notification on July 17 of lottery results.
When notified of a virtual permit assignment, students will be directed to Online Services and must provide proof of insurance, license plate registration and pay for the permit by the designated deadline or the permit is forfeited. Student citation balances must be cleared prior to registering and purchasing a permit.
Following the lottery process, parking availability is released via the waitlist. If waitlists are cleared and there is availability in the RR Estes Residence Parking Lot (student residents living in Carolina Housing) or the S11 Manning Parking Lot (student commuters), permits will be made available for sale on a first-come, first-serve basis through Online Services on Aug. 1.
