UNC-Chapel Hill Transportation and Parking wants to help you plan ahead so you can enjoy a safe and relaxing holiday!

Parking Lots and Gates

  • Permitted Lots: Gates remain raised throughout the holiday period.
  • Pay Lots: Entry lanes closed; exit lanes raised. No charges apply from Wednesday (midnight) to Monday (7 a.m.).
  • Bell Tower Lot: Gates up on Thursday, Nov. 28, and Friday, Nov. 29. Gates close Friday at 5 p.m. for gameday preparations.
  • Meters: All meters are offline during the holiday period.

Point-to-Point (P2P) Service Adjustments

  • P2P Express: No service from Nov. 27-30. Regular service resumes on Sunday, Dec. 1.
  • Baity Hill Shuttle: No service from Nov. 27-30. Regular service resumes on Sunday, Dec. 1.
  • PASS Cart: No service from Nov. 28-30. Regular service resumes Monday, Dec. 2, at 8 a.m.
  • P2P OnDemand: No service from Nov. 27 (starting at 5 p.m.) through Nov. 30. Regular service resumes Sunday, Dec. 1, at 9 a.m.
  • P2P RR LOT: No service from Nov. 27-30. Regular service resumes Sunday, Dec. 1, at 11:30 p.m.

Parking Service Office Hours

  • The Transportation and Parking Service Office will close at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27.
  • The office will resume regular hours Monday, Dec. 2.
