BreakShuttle provides luxury motor coach service for UNC students to get home to Charlotte during school breaks. Bus stops include IKEA in Mineral Springs and Dick’s Sporting Goods in Barclay Downs.

Alamance Burlington Express

Serving Mebane, Graham, Burlington, Greensboro
PART Express route 4 connects the Triad to the Triangle. This bus begins in Greensboro and stops at various points along I-40 before arriving at UNC, Monday through Friday. Students can ride for $1.25 one-way with student ID.


Serving Charlotte, NC; Richmond, VA; Washington, DC; and New York City, NY
Megabus leaves from Willard Street in Durham, adjacent to the Durham bus station. GoTriangle connects UNC to the Durham Station, Monday through Saturday.


Serving Cities Nationwide
Greyhound buses leave from Durham and Raleigh, 7 days a week. GoTriangle connects UNC to the stations in Durham and Raleigh, Monday through Saturday.

Raleigh-Durham (RDU) International Airport

Raleigh-Durham (RDU) International Airport is the closest airport to UNC, located directly between Durham and Raleigh. GoTriangle connects UNC to RDU Airport (transfer from route 800 to route 100; ask driver for transfer ticket). During Thanksgiving, Fall, and Spring Breaks, UNC students can ride the free Point-to-Point (P2P) shuttle service.
