OWASA Country Club Road Water Line Replacement Map

The Orange Water and Sewer Authority (OWASA) is undertaking an infrastructure project to replace the water pipes on Country Club Road between South Boundary Street and Gimghoul Road. The project will begin Monday, Oct. 28, and is expected to be completed January 2020.

Work will begin at the eastern end of Country Club Road and progress toward South Boundary Street in three phases. Normal work hours for the project will be Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. During work hours, construction will require the closure of portions of the eastbound lane but two-way traffic will be maintained with flagger operations. Drivers should expect some traffic delays if traveling through this area. Lanes will reopen to normal traffic operations outside of OWASA work hours.

Visitor and metered parking spaces adjacent to each work zone will be closed for the duration of each project phase. For the locations of additional visitor parking, please visit the University Campus Map.

Water service may be interrupted to buildings and residents in this area as OWASA transfers service connections to the new water line. OWASA will provide advance notice to any affected customers, and all planned service interruptions will be coordinated with OWASA; Facilities Services; Environment, Health and Safety; Carolina Housing and building occupants. Service interruptions are anticipated to occur near the end of the year.
