The No. 4 seed North Carolina Tar Heels will host West Virginia this weekend in Chapel Hill in the NCAA Super Regional on Friday, June 7, at Boshamer Stadium, the NCAA announced Tuesday morning. Carolina’s first game against WVU will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday with Saturday’s game slated for an 8 p.m. start. The third game of the series, if necessary, is tentatively set for 3 p.m. on Sunday.

The Tar Heels (45-14) advanced to the Super Regional round with a 4-3, 10-inning victory over reigning champion LSU in the Chapel Hill Regional championship game on Monday.

Accessibility parking and golf cart shuttles are available for each game from the Rams Head Parking Deck along Ridge Road.

Golf carts operated by Transportation and Parking and sponsored by the Department of Athletics operate to/from the main entrance of the Rams Head Deck to/from Boshamer Stadium beginning 90 minutes prior to game time, throughout each game and up to approximately 30 minutes following each game.

Parking in Rams Head Deck is $10 per entry.

Due to the demand for campus parking, bus parking on campus cannot be guaranteed. It is best to contact Transportation and Parking at least 72 hours in advance of a game date, to be sure bus parking is available. Arrangements can be made by contacting Transportation and Parking at 919-962-3951 or via the online event request form.
The University does not allow any RV parking in main campus or off-campus University parking lots outside of football games.
Due to the volume of vehicles on campus for baseball games, it is best to plan on traffic delays and follow suggested directions of travel. Traffic is typically heaviest 30 minutes prior to game time.

There are multiple routes to public parking and all are encouraged.

  • Manning Drive to Craige Deck
  • Raleigh Road to Country Club Road to Ridge Road to both Rams Head Deck and Craige Deck
  • Raleigh Road to Raleigh Road visitor lot

Parking on campus requires a parking permit prior to 5 p.m. on weekdays except in the designated game day public pay lots.

Taxi services including Uber and Lyft may drop and pick-up passengers in the upper portion of the Ehringhaus Lot off Manning Drive for NCAA Baseball.  Patrons with disabilities using ride share may arrange a transport to Boshamer Stadium by advising the parking ambassador screening the lot for access.

To reduce traffic delays, drop-offs and pick-ups along roadways is prohibited.
