Due to a break in the main water line leaving Orange Water and Sewer Authority (OWASA) Jones Ferry Road Water Treatment Plant, the University will be entering Condition 2 at 11:30am and remain in Condition 2 until 11:00 p.m. Monday Nov. 5.

Changes to the University’s operational status and other emergency information is communicated by campus-wide e-mail and text messaging, and available via the Adverse Weather and Emergency Phone Line at 919-843-1234, the Travelers’ Information radio system (1610 AM), and the University Access Channel (Chapel Hill Time Warner Cable Channel 4).


Parking regulations are in effect – even in lots where gates are raised. The Dogwood Deck is expressly reserved for patients and visitors only.
