Events
UNC-Chapel Hill hosts a wide array of events throughout the year. Departments should register events and request transportation services to accommodate the event. Campus events range from small-scale, which may require parking space reservations, to large-scale events such as a UNC football game. Transportation and Parking works to ensure that events are managed and that the campus is aware of significant impacts to campus parking and transit services.
Major Campus Events
UNC-Chapel Hill hosts a variety of events on campus including sports, concerts, plays and VIP guests. Departments hosting events on campus will often need to make special arrangements through Transportation and Parking to accommodate the event. Please plan large events in cooperation with Transportation and Parking.

- Parking Validation Coupons: Purchase stamps to validate hourly/daily parking for event attendees.
- Medical Appointment Request Form: Request a temporary permit for a medical appointment by submitting the medical appointment request form.
- Men’s Basketball Request Form: Request parking for home men’s basketball games.
