The TransLōc mobile app allows real-time vehicle tracking and On-demand ride requests. Riders without a mobile device may use the TransLōc website to request a ride.

  • Download the TransLōc app (App Store or Google Play)
  • University students and employees select “Log in with University account”
  • Select “UNC-Chapel Hill”
  • Use ONYEN username and password to log in
  • Select transit “Agency Visibility” under settings

Point-to-Point uses TransLōc for real-time bus tracking and On-Demand service requests.

Real-Time Bus Tracking

  • Download the TransLōc app and log in
  • Under “Agency Visibility” select “UNC-Chapel Hill”
  • Select “Routes” to track Point-to-Point buses real-time

On-Demand Service Requests

  • Download the TransLōc app and log in
    • University employees and students log in with ONYEN
    • Hospital employees create a TransLōc account to log in
  • Under “Agency Visibility” select “UNC-Chapel Hill”
  • Select “On-Demand”
  • Select pick-up and drop-off location to to request a ride

  • Visit the Triangle TransLoc website
  • Select “UNC-Chapel Hill”
  • Select route to display

On-Demand Service Requests

  • Visit the TransLoc On-Demand website for Point-to-point
  • University students and employees select “Log in with University account” with ONYEN login
    • Under “Select your university” choose “UNC-Chapel Hill”
    • Select a service from the menu or “Book a Ride”
  • Hospital employees sign up for an account
    • Under “Agency” select “UNC-Chapel Hill”
    • Under “Book a Ride,” select a service
  • Select pick-up and drop-off location to to request a ride
